                                                                    The Dog   

Everyone was screaming when my dad and I got off the fastest roller coaster in the world. We were at the PNE and we were trying to do everything. I asked my dad if I could have a quarter for the claw machine. "Sure," he said while tossing me a quarter for the machine. Suddenly the boy started screaming "I won, I won!" He was holding a stuffed dog. Then a real dog popped out of nowhere and the dog was wearing glasses. It started running and the boy chased it to a busy street with a huge truck coming towards them. Luckily they both made it across.

    A great opening sentence as I want to know why everyone is screaming so I have to read more of your story. What a twist to then end of your story but I am glad they were safe. It almost seems like you have two stories mixed together one about events at the PNE and another about a lost dog. I wonder how the stories could fit together better or you just pick one story and finish it well.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Siblings My best friend and I were annoying my big brother like we often do when we are bored. "Shh!" I whispered as we stealthily crept into his room. It was a big mess, clothes and junk everywhere. "There!" I pointed to a box with endless wads of cash. I grabbed the box and we started running. "Quick! In here!" I yelled.We hustled into my room and locked the door. "We're not safe. We have to hide the money, but where will we hide it all?" "In here!" I said trying not to panic, "Hide!" we screamed. The door opened and I knew we were dead.

I just got my new goldfish, Goldy. He was very excited and jumpy. It looked like he could jump over a tall ladder. I did not want to loose my fish if he flew out of his bowl. I thought I was taking good care of him until I saw the brown murky water. I forgot to clean the water and the bowl! No wonder Goldy looked so sick. He started slowly turning upside down and I knew he was gone. I was a horrible fish owner. next time I will just get a hamster.
